Beauty on duty

If the image of last week’s post was typically Indian, what about this one? It is very different but somehow – to me – equally typical. The combination of different elements – objects, texts, small details – is inimitable. When I passed by I thought: Yes! India! Great!

Why does it please me so much? Probably because I feel it as a confirmation of what I consider as characteristic of popular Indian culture and aesthetics: a holy mess.
