… for two silent voices.

I like the mountains – being among them – for their majestic silence. Each time when I see the picture of these two mountain ridges I halt again and listen to their music without sound, a beautiful music of silence. Cage or Feldman could have composed it. The view was a spell of nature and I happened to be there at the right moment. The photo was taken in the French Alps and is a good example of “καιρός remembered”. It may be a bit much to say that it was a life changing moment, but I also don’t think it is purely accidental that I am now living in the Himalayas.
