Aesthetically this may not be such a great picture, but it has something beautiful about it that pleases me.
Four girls on a lawn dotted with little flowers by the waterfront, and each of them totally absorbed by her own playful discovery of the world. Although they probably have descended here together, each one now seems completely unaware of the presence of the others. The scene breathes an atmosphere of carefree children’s happiness, in strong contrast with last week’s pictures.

We are here in The Netherlands, where all children learn to swim at an early age. So no need to worry about them drowning in case they fall into the water.
