After a long day of walking around village or town in search of vegetable waste, paper, cardboard, anything eatable in short, a cow comes home.

Is the cow holy in India? In a way, yes, at least to some extent. She’s part of the living, part of the family like a pet and one has to be kind and caring for a family member. Reality may sometimes be different, also for a cow. We all know that of course. But this cow finds the door of the family home wide open. Welcome home, cow!

I must have seen this sight so many times during my journey across the country, through villages, city lanes (gullies) but never could I imagine to capture them so spectacularly as you have done Louk and even if I would have done God Save All from the results. How do you capture these mundane scenes so well ? and the thought that goes with it thereafter in the write-up is equally captivating …
