Again no.13, my lucky number, this time in Prague!
The lady’s head above the door and the delicate pattern of leafy twigs and fruits all around is nicely done. It’s a fine example of the decorated façades in Art Nouveau style for which this city is known. When walking the streets of Prague do not forget to look up every other step or else you deprive yourself of the nicest sights! Like this slant-eyed girl with earmuffs.
And this young lady carving her name – or her lover’s – in the façade of her house.
And what about this elegant lady looking down at you from her elevated throne. She may have served as a model for the simple contemporary girl in the lane around the corner.
