Sunset point
Sunsets are marketed as tourist attractions. In Luang Prabang, Phu Si hill in the middle of town is considered the perfect spot for observing the sunset. So towards the end of the day all tourists in Luang Prabang climb Phu Si hill with their phones and cameras poised.
Watching the sun set becomes foolishly taking part in a collective experience of sunset.
